Slanguage Re-cap on “Dislexicon”
Thank you to those that were able to make it to ” Dislexicon” this past Thursday @ MOCA. Our little video turned out okay despite the fact it was homemade stilo and we only had a two week period.
Raul Vasquez and Karla Diaz appear in our movie as random characters. They came out and performed spoken word on stage immediately after the movie.
The movie is old history of Wilmington California as well as street history with an art twist check it out.

Westside 101: West Hollywood Bookfair
Some stupid company once put West Hollywood on an eastside map, which was a laugh riot. But after a ritual burning and casting of spells, they saw the error of their fake eastside ways and have now given West Hollywood their own map. Good for them. It’s not often I find myself in this community but how can anyone resist a bookfair? Pa’ los libros!

No. How can someone think of putting pancakes into a BURRITO!?!?!? Puras locuras. I could not belive my sleepy eyes when I went to Denny’s with the GF this morning. Her choice to go there. I wanted a torta after reading Chavo’s post. So you can believe my shock when I saw this on the menu. And the price !?!? Pfft tan locos. I was THIS CLOSE to actually giving it a try and not being close minded and judgmental about it. But after I saw the syrup trying to be salsa, I took a stand and said NO. Denny’s, I’ve enjoyed the 3 a.m. breakfast and pumpkin pie in the winter, but this atrocity against burritos has gone far enough. All I have to say is NO.
