A black widow spider and her soon-to-be-born offspring are taking in the sunny morning in my Lincoln Heights garden.
I have a soft spot for spiders. Won’t kill them. Black widows are the rare exception, and only when I can’t safely move one from a dangerous spot. Flies? Screw them.
