conclude back at Lincoln Park where riders will picnic. The Los Angeles

The EASTSIDE BIKE CLUB was formed in June 2008 to fill a void of organized
bike rides in the Eastside communities of El Sereno, Lincoln Heights and
Boyle Heights. The purpose of this club is to encourage families to
participate to combat diabetes & obesity in a safe friendly environment and
to allow community members to observe and discover our wonderful community
from a view of a bicycle seat. A second purpose is to educate bike riders
of safe riding in the streets and to know the laws.

We have conversation, mentor and make new friends on our bike treks. The
club rides every Tuesday night at 7pm and Saturday mornings at 10am.
(Saturday ride time subject to change depending on weather conditions).
Our rides are between 10 miles and 30 miles in distance. Community members
as young as 8 years old and as old as 76 years old have participated in our
rides. Currently we have an email subscriber list of nearly 300 emails of
community bike riders.
