The girl that dropped these flyers off at the Bike Oven was really nice. Hopefully, more latina/chicana women will get as involved in cycling as their male counterparts are (not to say that latina and chicanas don’t ride, but they’re greatly outnumbered by young men of a similar background).
CharG – they meet at 7 pm!
Riding on this side of town has pushed my political thinking a lot, and it has made me see my home in a way that I think presents solutions to common problems we all have, yet which are ignored by the public at large.
