Ed began his blog, viewfromaloft.typepad.com, on July 4th, 2006, and joined blogdowntown.com in May of 2007. He currently works as a graphic artist, art director and photographer from his loft in the Arts District, where he has lived since 1998. In addition to being a former Creative Services Art Director at Variety, and Senior Graphic Designer at NBC, and an assistant to Judith Baca (SPARC), he's also been a copywriter for ad agencies and a columnist for Downtown L.A.'s smaller newspapers . Ed current mural, entitled "Main St Recovery", is on the front face of the former Regent Theater on Main, between Winston and 5th streets, in Downtown Los Angeles. He's currently is working on a new series of digital murals, has no screenplay in the works, and is addicted to writing in third person.
