How am I doing? Well, horrible and wonderful all at once! Horrible in that I’m feeling like a great many people are, pessimistic and worried. But I’m also exhilarated because my thinking is shifting with increasing acceleration. Getting even a tiny slice of the pie is becoming an ever more remote possibility. I’m putting down my fork, taking off my bib, pushing my plate away, and leaving the table.
