I saw his work at the Phantom Sitting a while back, I think that’s where it was and when I saw that Pachuco painting I fell in love with it, even considered stealing it. I’ll definitely stop by and check out his new exhibit

wow thanks for this post! I saw the pachuco bastard painting at Cheech’s exhibit last year and had a hard time finding a good resolution pic of it online. Thanks for the pics!
I’m gonna post them up in my cube at work next to my ELA murals map. And I’ll definitely check out that exhibit.

Well written article/interview! This guy’s art is amazing. I love the MacArthur Park piece, and recognize the Zoot Suit Riot one from a video I once saw.

I would like the make to opening night of the show, but can’t. I’m definitely rolling to this during it’s run though.
