It’s amazing how their popularity endures. I knew this guy in England who was making pirated DVDs for prostitutes in London (don’t ask!)and his most popular request was for Cheech and Chong!
The drug house from Up in Smoke is on Pasadena Ave near Figueroa. I went to a yard sale there the other day and I was talking to the owner about his unique looking house and trying to avoid a Cheech and Chong reference, when he was all “you know the movie, right?” Hehe, of course I do!
By the way, I have a promotional “Up in Smoke” tank top from back in the day (my dad’s friend was in the movie), never worn. I wonder how much it’s worth???
